There is some spalting which suggest that when worked these ash blanks may reveal some interesting features.

Everyone loves ash because it is a strong wood that is relativelystraight forward to turn and that is take stain and finishes well.

Ash is a great wood for handles and other spindle work plusbowls and platters.
