Henry Taylor Bowl Adze

Product Description

Sheffield made hand forged adzes by Henry Taylor for single handed use.

This one is a tight gouge (sweep 9), however this lucky fella is outcannel which makes it a Bowl Adze.

At the other end to the cutting edge is a square faced hammer poll.

All Henry Taylor adzes have an ash handle of 250mm (about 10′) .

The overall head size (from the square face of the hammer poll to the cutting edge) is 175mm (about 7′)

Weight is 0.91 kgs which is 2lbs in old money.

A nicely balanced product – well done Henry Taylor Tools, you are almost as good as Timothy Taylor who also make very finely balanced products – Timothy Taylor Landlord & Timothy Taylor Boltmaker beers!
