Keyhole Slot Plug

Product Description

Imported from Lee Valley in Canada, this brass insert takes all the trouble out of making a keyhole slot for hanging pictures or other items – no routing required. The plug mounts in a 5/16” (7.94mm) deep hole made with a 5/8” (15.88mm) forstner bit (sold separately) and is secured with adhesive; the grooved shank provides a good mechanical glue lock.

Only a single plug is needed to hold a small frame, but additional plugs can be used to hold larger items or prevent rotation. The keyhole opening is sized to fit common #8 screws.
