Recommended for wood working, gunsmithing, tool & die work and all other jobs that require a smooth metal finish. Slip Stones are the ideal answer for sharpening and polishing hooks and blades.

These long-lasting, round edge Arkansas Slip Stones are ideal for precision sharpening and honing. This stone produces a fine, even finish on curved blades and is popular amongst carpenters, tool manufacturers and die makers. Available in four stone grades.

All stones are 4″ x 2″ x 3/8″ (101.6mm x 50.8mm x 9.5mm) in size and tapers from 3/8″ to 1/8″ (9.5mm to 3.2mm). These Slip Stones are supplied with a leather pouch.

Soft Arkansas Equivalent Grit: 400-600
Hard Arkansas Equivalent Grit: 800-1000
Surgical Black Arkansas Equivalent Grit: 4000-6000
Translucent Arkansas Equivalent Grit: 8000-10000
