Available in lengths 8″, 10″and 12″ with 20tpi, in Rip (for cutting with the grain).

Blade depths are as follows:

8″ Blade length = Blade depth 2″
10″ Blade length = Blade depth 2″
12″ Blade length = Blade depth 2 1/2″

These Pax 1776 saws are the premium range made by Thomas Flinn & Co in Sheffield, England. The dovetailssaws are beautifuly crafted with a heavy brassback which is foldedto give the blade its tension. The open handles are made from Walnut and have solid brass split but screw and medallion.If you like a heavier saw, then this might well be the one for you.
