Crown Tools HSS Continental Spindle Gouge

Product Description

These are Crown Tools versions of Continental Spindle Gouges which are similar to the old carbon steel gouges.

Continental spindlegouges are made by forging a curved blade from a flat bar (similar to a roughing gouge but shallower) and depending on the size can be used like a standard gouge and also a small roughing gouge.

To measure a continental gouge you measure the width across the top of the flute.

Available in 2 sizes, 3/4” (19mm)and 1” (25mm)
