Made by 5th generation knife makers this Higonokami Sadakoma is a very traditional style Japaneseknife that completely friction folds into its brass handle for safe storage. The tab / lever makes it easy to unfold, and does not require a locking mechanism.

This modelhas a longer double sided bevel which makes it more of an all rounder as a utility knife which is handy to have in the workshop.
