This Lie Nielsen spokeshave is based on a lovely tool that hasn’t been available since Edward Preston and Sons went out of business in the 1930’s.

Lightweight but solid.

Redesigned for fine, precise shaping work in all woods.

Available with a flat or curved sole (1-1/2″ radius).

6-3/4″ long, with a 5/8″ wide sole

Bronze body and cap with with an A-2 cyro blade 1-3/8″ wide x 1/8″ thick -hardened to Rockwell 60-62.
