The Nakaya Classic Kataba is awell-balanced saw thast is available in two lengths; the 250mm has finer teeth which isdesigned for fine joinery work, and the more coarse 300mm version forgeneral carpentry.Katabarefers to the blade not having a spine, so is therefore able to perform deeper cuts when required. The blade will still track straight in the cut as the blade will be under tension when pulled.

• Replaceable blade made from high-quality Japanese steel.

• Cross-cut teeth,perfect for “shoulder” work.

• Blade thickness: 0.5mm thick (250mm saw) / 0.6mm (300mm saw).

• Tooth spacing / teeth per inch: 1.36mm or 18TPI (250mm saw) / 2.3mm or 11TPI (300mm saw).

The saw is supplied with rattan-wrap on the 300mm, but not the 250mm version.

This saw performs best with a light touch and deliberate stroke. When the blade eventually dulls, replacements are easy to fit.
