A set of 4 Narex Richter Socket Chisels in a fitted cardboard box. Includes the 1/4” (6mm), 1/2” (13mm), 3/4” (19mm) and 1” (25mm).

The Narex has expanded its ever popular Richter range of premium chisels with these socket chisels. They combine the characteristics of their Richter bevel edge chisels with a traditional socket-handle construction.

Forged in the Czech Republic from premium chrome-vanadium (Cr-V) steel, each blade is cryogenically treated and hardened to 62 HRc for exceptional edge retention, durability and ease of sharpening. The finely ground blade features slim side bevels, making these chisels ideal for precision joinery such as dovetails and paring, but also general bench work where you might require heavier blows with a mallet.

Unlike traditional tang chisels, the Richter socket chisel uses a robust socket-and-handle design. This proven construction offers excellent strength, allows the handle to be replaced if ever required, and provides superb balance in the hand. The turned European Ash handles are fitted securely into the socket.
