Product Description

This Veritas dowel former allows you to make dowel pins of whatever length you need. You simply drive an oversized piece of wood through the sharp edged hole of the solid A2 tool steel insert to shear excess material from the dowel. The Veritas 75mm diameter mounting plate has two screw holes for permanent mounting.

Can be used over a 3/4″ or 20mm dog hole and is compatible with all inserts. Solid interchangeable A2 tool steel inserts snap directly into mounting plate. Inserts have sharp edged holes to shear excess material from the dowels.

Boxed sets of a plate and the four most commonly used inserts are available. Metric set includes 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm inserts.
