Product Description
Dalbergia melanoxylon, called M’phingwe in the local Sena Language but more commonly know by it Portuguese name Pau Preto in Mozambique. Also know as Zebrawood.A dense, lustrous timber varying from dull brown to black with cream sapwood. Often misnamed as an ebony, it turns superbly and polishes up to a high shine and is firm enough for thread cutting.
